Jiyen Lee prepares a workshop in which visitors explore the light within nature for themselves, using the nano-film that is the principal medium of her exhibited Stain-Rainbow 7series. Inspired by the satellite broadcasting system that Paik ran live through such 1986 satellite projects as Bye Bye Kipling, she also proposes a workshop in which audience and artist participate from within different space-times. Bringing nano-film—made with new semiconductor technology—into the realm of popular artistic experience, Jiyen Lee seeks to share a journey in which visitors newly sense and explore the light of nature through technology.
