A mannequin lies in a bathtub with its head dipped under the blood-red water, both arms and one leg dismembered, and the other leg raised over the tub. In this space that looks like a horrifying mutilation murder scene, Nam June Paik made performance by looking down at the tub wearing a black garment and a white mask. According to the texts in the score, Moving Theater, these space installations and performances are related to political situations. In his first exhibition, Paik surprised many by installing what seemed like a combination of political awareness and the language of horror movies.
