On a lined notebook page, three television sets are drawn with a ballpoint pen. While each television looks like tangled lines, upon a closer look, one may identify the contours of a TV set with an antenna, and a human figure or a seated Buddha out of the screen’s scanning lines. The antenna of the television placed at the center of the picture is depicted on a different side from the other two televisions, indicating that it is laid on its side. This drawing recalls the room of experimental televisions placed in different directions in Nam June Paik’s solo show, Exposition of Music — Electronic Television.
