Untitled is a drawing for Good Morning Mr. Orwell (1984). “Rendez-vous céleste” is written on the top, and two sets of three televisions are drawn at the bottom, with “Paris” written on the left and “N.Y.” on the right. Boomerang forms that Paik often employed to symbolize a TV antenna are flying upward and converge into “Rendez-vous céleste.” In an essay that Nam June Paik wrote on Good Morning Mr. Orwell, he explains that the satellite art project, which brings geniuses and stars of Earth that has never met or worked before, is “a high-tech version of the legend of Altair and Vega.”
