Burma Chest
Inside the upper section of this Myanmar-style golden chest lies eight small monitors; two projectors on each side display videos of female nudes as well as Charlotte Moorman’s performance. Various ornaments, drawings, and photographs are enclosed in the two-drawer unit of the lower section. The drawers not only contain one’s private stories but also represent a reservoir of stories that are to be released to others. Sponge robots, steel robots, as well as a reclining Buddha sculpture of Southeast Asia, are placed around the chest.
